Ramada Manila Central – A Classy Hotel in Chinatown!

When this hotel was still under construction, I thought that this would be my hotel of choice for my wedding preparation. Its location is just merely a few steps away from Binondo Church, so there was no need to panic about being late for the ceremony. 🙂

This hotel opened its doors to the public in year 2012. Located in the heart of Chinatown, its proximity to restaurants, malls, and historical sites makes exploring Manila more convenient and accessible.

The front desk allowed us an ocular tour of their different room types before we book a room. There were four kinds : superior, deluxe, executive and suite.

All rooms are modernly styled and zen-like. There are no funny smell and looks new and fresh. Each room has a different view of the city that provides a homey and pleasant atmosphere for guests who would be staying here regardless of it smaller room size.
We decided to book one executive room (for the groom’s) and one suite (for the bride). We reserved the suite room for 2 nights, because we  intended to spend our first night here after our reception. 🙂
The rate we got was 4,300 pesos* for the executive room and 5,300 pesos* for the suite (*year 2013 rates). Quite reasonably priced in my opinion. Room inclusions were breakfast buffet for two, daily newspaper, strong Wi-Fi connection, bottled water, and access to their fitness center. Each room is also equipped with LCD TV with cable, hair dryer, personal vault, mini bar, and mini fridge.
These were some of the shots from the hotel during our wedding preparation :

This was taken from the executive room. Just above the bed head board.
This was in the hall way.

This was from the suite. Our room had the church’s view. Pretty neat!

This was on the 6th level of the hotel.

This was on the lobby lounge.
We had a hassle free stay. The personnel in the front desk were accommodating and helpful. The room was clean. The breakfast served in News Cafe had a wide array of good food selections, from dimsum to cereals. We actually stayed here again 2 months after our wedding because we availed the promo rates from Agoda. We’ll definitely be back soon!
